Originally a tropical vine, Monstera's homeland is the rainforests of South America. If cared for well, the Monstera, which will grow tall by giving new leaves in a very short time, creates tears/holes in the upper leaves so that the sun can reach the lower shaded leaves. In this way, the small leaves at the bottom can also reach the sunlight they need. Monstera Deliciosa, which we admire for its huge and separate leaves, is also known as the "Swiss Cheese Plant" because of this appearance.
Monstera Deliciosa, which will instantly bring a forest atmosphere to any interior with its large green leaves, gives delicious fruits at maturity. Although it is not possible to see its fruit in our climate, you will witness it grow and settle in your home in a short time.
The Monstera we will send is approximately 60 cm tall. Since it is a living plant, the number of leaves and their length may vary according to the giant leaf in the image. Although you may not have too many perforated leaves in the first place, new ones will be added as the plant grows.

You should water your Monstera, which is quite easy to care for, twice a week in summer and once in winter. Your watering frequency may increase or decrease depending on the season and the humidity/temperature ratio of the place where it is located.
The Monstera plant does not need direct sunlight, but it cannot develop in a completely dark area away from sunlight.
Since Monstera Deliciosa is a tropical vine, the rain effect you will create with a sprinkler every 4-5 days will support its growth.
The soil of the Monstera plant should be peat soil suitable for green leafy plants. Your plant will be sent to you planted in soil suitable for these characteristics. Changing the soil once a year will accelerate the development of your plant. When changing the soil of your Monstera, you should be careful to choose peat soil with the same characteristics.
