About Hoya Cocodema:
Hoya Kerrii is a species of Hoya native to southeast Asia. Plant collector Arthur Francis George Kerr, a British physician and botanist, gave the plant the name “lucky heart” because the thick leaves are heart-shaped.
The part you see as the stem on the Hoya Kerii plant is actually a leaf. As the plant grows, it produces new heart-shaped leaves. Hoya Kerii (wax plant) lives epiphytically in tropical forests, clinging to trees. The succulent species, which usually develops in mid-spring to early summer, can reach a height of 4 meters.
Hoya Cocodema is designed by wrapping the roots of the Hoya Kerii plant with the Japanese potting method kokedama.
The plant used in this design is pet-friendly, meaning your pet will not be poisoned if it eats the plant.
Hoya Cocodema Care Information:
You only need to soak your Hoya Cocodema in a water-filled container for 10 minutes every 3 weeks. If you want to preserve the green color of the moss on the outside, you can moisten it every day. It is not a problem for the plant if the color of the moss turns yellow.
