About Capella Cocodema:
Cocodema: It is a Japanese word derived from the words koke (moss) and dama (ball), which describe the wrapping of suitable plant roots with moss. A potting method. After the orchid plant is wrapped using the kokedama method, it is prepared with a brass base handmade by local producers.
The design, which uses the Phalaenopsis orchid species, takes its name from Capella, one of the brightest stars visible to the naked eye from Earth.
The plant used in this design is pet-friendly, meaning your pet will not be poisoned if it eats the plant.
Important Note: Phalaenopsis plants are grown in special greenhouses to be used in cut and potted flower designs. Due to the unconscious collection of orchid tubers from nature for salep/ice cream making or more affordable orchid designs, 170 orchid species are in danger in Turkey today! In order to contribute to biodiversity, ask where an orchid is sourced from before purchasing it.
Care Information:
You should soak your Capella Cocodema in a bowl of water for 20 minutes once a week. When you soak your orchid in tap water that has been soaked, you can add 1 cap of orchid food per liter of water to ensure more frequent flowering.
Do not cut the aerial roots of your orchid that remain outside. Allowing these roots to receive sunlight will make your plant happy. Apart from this, the flowering part of your orchid should not receive direct sunlight.
