Living Art: Cocodema

Founded by Sibel Gürcüoğlu in 2017, Cocodema takes its name from kokedama, a Japanese art. Composed of the words koke (moss) and dama (ball), Cocodema, which sets out with the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, takes care to use sustainable and nature-friendly materials as auxiliary materials in its plant-focused designs.
Cocodema aims to offer long-lasting designs that purify the air of toxins in their environment, allowing you to breathe more comfortably and communicate more effectively, rather than short-lived flower bouquets that you might gift to loved ones or use for decoration. All of Cocodema's products are locally and artisanally produced.
Cocodema combines a worldview focused on transition and the acceptance of natural imperfections in Japanese aesthetics with minimalism. It aims to serve as a reminder to breathe within your homes and offices.
