About Hoya Kerii (Heart Plant):

Hoya Kerrii is a species of Hoya native to southeast Asia. Plant collector Arthur Francis George Kerr, a British physician and botanist, gave the plant the name “lucky heart” because the thick leaves are heart-shaped.

The part you see as the stem on the Hoya Kerii plant is actually a leaf. As the plant grows, it produces new heart-shaped leaves. Hoya Kerii (wax plant) lives epiphytically in tropical forests, clinging to trees. The succulent species, which usually develops in mid-spring to early summer, can reach a height of 4 meters.

The plant used in this design is pet-friendly, meaning your pet will not be poisoned if it eats the plant.

Hoya Kerii (Heart Plant) Care Information:

The care of Hoya Kerii should be based on the care principles of cacti and succulents. Hoya Kerii, like all other plants, does not like direct sunlight but prefers bright environments as much as possible. Air flow is important for the plant.
Since Hoya Kerii is a succulent, it cannot withstand even the slightest frost. During the winter months, it is definitely not positioned indoors away from heat sources.
It can be watered every 2-3 weeks in winter and every 10 days in summer with half a tea glass of water. It should be taken into consideration that the frequency of watering may vary according to the ambient temperature.
